Stamina

Can I just point out that I have blogged about this balloon before... I got it for my birthday on September 21... and it is STILL floating as high as I will let the string go, it is not waining.

This is the kind of stamina that we all need in 2012. Don't let time find your committment waining. Let's go full force after all that God has placed in front of us!

I think I'm always ready for bed...

So, you see my post from yesterday... well it appears my day was so productive that I didn't get to really blog... I only put a title... well, what had happened was... LOL I stayed the night with a friend and was trying to post from my phone which wouldn't let me type in this section of the post, I could only type in the title section, which was what I did... and so I summed up the day yesterday; it was a productive day!

And today was productive as well... I started out with an early morning in Rancho Palos Verdes. For those of you far from Southern California, look at the pics and be jealous ;)



Then I did a run to LAX airport, followed by breakfast with a great guy, and then I headed back to Corona and was here by noon.

The afternoon was spent productively on ministry paperwork and phone calls.

Tonight was wrapped up with a great Bible study on the Word, and I think I am going to have a quick meeting about student ministry before heading to bed.

Productive Day

Praise the Lord

Tonight as I read Psalm 148, 149, and 150, I was excited about the opportunity to praise the Lord. He is SO worthy of our praise!

Today is day 2 of 2012. I see this year as a year of trust, truth, discipline and organization for myself. In addition, here are my New Year's Resolutions:

1. Read the Word EVERY day





2. Take a picture every day





3. Blog every day





4. Study the evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman





5. Get down to 120lbs





6. Student teach in order to complete my Master's degree

Let's make this an amazing year! Let's live a life poured out! Let's live today as if we'll die tomorrow, but learn and dream as if we'll live forever!

Make EVERY second count!

It's a NEW Year

2012 has begun! And I am excited about it!!! One of my resolutions is to blog every day in 2012. Right now I am utterly exhausted, having traveled for about the past 20 hours, stopping for a bit in the middle of the day. I've driven in 3 states today, and I am now ready to get into this:




I am excited to blog some other thoughts, but honestly, my brain is about half asleep and thus those thoughts will have to wait until tomorrow to be written :)

I know I know

Upon seeing my lack of daily posts, SOMEONE mentioned to me the other day that I needed to work on my discipline. I know I know...

I will work on it :)

And today... I have not taken any pics... but in at least one previous post, I posted pics from multiple days, so today I am going to post pics from my walk on Tuesday.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today was an interesting thanksgiving. Not all fun and games, although there was a lot of fun and games involved :)

Nonetheless, this Thanksgiving, I am thankful!!!

I am thankful to have a Father who loves me who will never leave me nor forsake me nor will His love for me wane!

I am thankful for a family, even though they are so far away and holidays make me miss them even more.

I am thankful that in 4 weeks I will be with them!

I am thankful for friends here that act like family. I am thankful for friends far away that stay friends despite the miles.

I am thankful for a place to stay.

I am thankful for clothes and food.

I am thankful for my church.

I am thankful for my Pastor and his wife who have shown me the heart of God in human form.

I am thankful for past experiences and current situations.

I am thankful for all God has blessed me with.
