Love at First Sight

When asked if I believe in love at first sight, my answer is NO. I believe in lust at first sight. On the spiritual side, I believe two people can be connected in spirit, but not at first sight necessarily. I do believe that is possible, but not necessarily at first sight. I believe two people can connect in spirit quickly, but I think even that is rare at first sight. I think love is really knowing someone and still really caring about and for them. As a friend says, love is allowing someone to be human and still caring for them. This is love. This is what we show our friends, family, and significant others. However, I think there is a big difference in loving someone and being in love with them. You can love someone and yet not be in love with them. Being in love means willing to sacrifice and sacrificing often… taking care of someone… fully trusting… fully communicating… fighting their fights and fighting for them…

If a person saw another person who was hideously ugly, no matter how compatible they may be or how happy they could make each other, there would never be love at first sight… “love at first sight” does not exist...

OH NO!!!!!!!

SO.... yesterday I forgot to post and I forgot to take a picture. 2 of my New Year's resolutions, January isn't even over, and I already messed up :/

BUT... when we mess up, that just means we have another chance to start fresh. Our lives are not judged by whether we fall down or not, but rather how long we stay down. So, even though I did mess up and missed out yesterday, I am bouncing back to get back on board today.

It is 9:01pm, and I am already ready to go to bed. :/

Just DO what HE tells you to DO

This is much easier said than done...

But if we would all just DO what God tells us to do, we would be victorious!

Even Mary at the wedding at Canan told the people when she sent them to Jesus, "Whatever He tells you, do it." After following Jesus' directions to fill the containers with water, even though the directions seemed illogical, it was upon following the directions that the people experienced a miracle.

JUST DO WHAT HE TELLS YOU TO DO!!!

Some days....

Some days it's easy to get overwhelmed with the cares of this life. BUT knowing we serve THE God, we need not fret or be swayed not let the cares of this world choke out the WORD of God!

Do what it do

Today I got up, took care of business, and got a lot accomplished. However, it seems for everything I take off of my to do list... I add 3 more things onto it :/

Oh well... that's what tomorrow is for, because I am about to lay down for the night :)
