My picture today is a self portrait... not that I look good by anymeans, but the next time I will be seen on this date again I will be 30 years old. We will not see this date on the calendar for another 4 years... 2016... sounds very futuristic...



But... where do you want to be 4 years from now? Where do I want to be 4 years from now? What are we doing today to see that we make it to where we want to be four years from now.

I didn't really do anything today to make the day special, but I did think about the date throughout the date... I thought of the potential of life and the future. As much as the past and present can cause pain, I am looking hopeful at the future. I don't want to forget the past... it has made me who I am.... I don't want to miss the present and wish my life away... I want to enjoy everyday... but as I move through the present, I need to make actions that will positively affect my future.
